Curriculum Vitae
DENTAL DISEASE IN THE GERIATRIC RABBIT
As veterinary care and husbandry improves, we are seeing longer lifespans in our pet rabbits. Rabbits with chronic dental disease or geriatric dental changes require a specialized approach. This paper was presented at the vet stream of the Rabbit Expo 2019.
tracheal collapse
Tracheal collapse is a common and well-studied condition in dogs, but has only been recently described in rabbits. This paper was presented at the 2015 national combined Unusual Pets and Avian Veterinarians conference, and it outlines using computed tomography scanning for ante-mortem diagnosis of tracheal collapse in rabbits.
Guinea pig workshop materials - Monster pet vet
Inappetance in rabbits
Inappetance in rabbits is a common presentation with several potential causes. This paper, presented at the 2019 national Australian Veterinary Association conference, outlines the diagnostic pathway for determining if an inappetant rabbit patient is suffering from gastrointestinal hypomotility or outflow obstruction.
DIET AND BEHAVIOR IN THE GERIATRIC RABBIT
Older rabbits may require changes in their diet, and many owners notice some changes in behavior as well. This paper was presented at the owner stream of the Rabbit Expo 2019.
